ACCOUNTING OPERATIONS — QUÉBEC

Thinking about hiring an accounting technician?

Before the job posting, the ramp-up, and the recurring salary — there's another way in. I join your business and do the work myself, then build the system that keeps doing it after I leave.

Right now, someone in your business is either doing this by hand at 11pm before month-end close — or you're about to write a job posting for the person who will. There's a third option, and it starts with someone who's actually done the job, not just automated it.

The offer

01 — LAYERS
02 — WHY YOU OWN IT

Why you own it outright

OWNERSHIPYou own the system outright — not a subscription you're renting. If we ever part ways, it keeps running, and it's still yours.
COSTNo per-workflow SaaS subscriptions stacking up over time. Automation and Judgment are each built once, priced once.
FITBuilt around how your business actually approves spend and closes books — because I did the work myself before automating any of it.
AUDITOne system to audit, not five vendors' worth of integrations, access logs, and data-sharing agreements.
03 — PROCESS
01

Discovery call

Free, about 30 minutes. We figure out if this is a fit — no pitch deck.

02

Work

I join your business as your accounting technician, hourly, for 2–4 months. Real work, not a diagnostic — reconciliation, AP, filings, whatever the role covers.

03

Automation

Once I've done the job myself, I know exactly what's worth automating. Fixed price, quoted only after Work is done — signed as its own separate contract, never guessed at upfront.

04

Handoff, with training

Documentation plus a real walkthrough session — a system you understand, not just one that works.

04 — WHY COMPTAZEN

Why ComptaZen

ComptaZen is new — there's no long client roster yet, and it's worth saying that plainly rather than padding this page with vague claims. What there is: a real, hands-on background as both an accounting technician and a software developer trained at 42 Québec, and automation work I've already shipped — a document-processing pipeline built end-to-end — before ComptaZen existed. When this site says “I do the job myself before I automate it,” it isn't a sales angle — it's my own career, in reverse order. Early clients get founder-level focus that gets harder to come by once the calendar fills up.
